Corporate sponsorship

Greater Altoona Girls Softball Association (GAGSA) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization based at Sam Wise Youth Sports Complex in Altoona, Iowa. Over 700 girls participate in our programs annually. The Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates the direct economic impact of our program in Altoona to be more than $2 million dollars with over 20,000 visitors to Sam Wise Softball Complex annually. In 2024 GAGSA hosted 4 USSSA tournaments as well as a spring and fall recreational league seasons. From April-July 2024 we hosted over 1500 practices and approximately 550 softball games at Sam Wise Softball Complex.

As a non-profit, GAGSA looks for ways to offset the operational cost associated with running our program. By partnering with local businesses, we have been able to keep our player fees low. This includes individual and corporate donations, corporate grants, in-kind donations, and corporate sponsorships.
