FALL BALL 2018
Registration for the fall ball recreation league is June 4-June 30, 2018
Tentative Information for the League:
- If currently playing, you may choose to stay on the same team (with same players and/or coach) as the spring league.
-You may choose to move up to the league you will be playing in next Spring.
-No draft. Players will be assigned to teams.
-Limited concession stand during this season. (no hot food)
-Practices will begin the week of July 23rd.
-Games will begin August 6th and run through September 13th with the following week open for any makeup games.
-Games will be Mon, Tues and Wed (total of 6 games)
-There will be no standings or end of the season tournament.
-Cost is $45

2018 Recreational League Information
The main goal of the GAGSA Recreational League is to ensure that the players are in a fun, positive environment while learning and expanding their softball skills. Our rec league promotes a sense of belonging for everyone. We emphasize teamwork and the sense of individual success that contribute to team sports.

The league provides:
- Secondary medical insurance for players while participating in games or practices
- Player uniform tops and socks
- Team and individual pictures and a participation trophy for each player
- Field maintenance
- Player equipment and supplies (note: all team equipment is shared)
- 9 regular league games and end of the season tournament.
Player is required to provide their own glove. Player shold also bring, for personal use: bat, helmet with face mask, fielding face mask, cleats, or slider.
Child 1 - $80 Registration + $15 *Capital Improvement fee + $40 **Volunteer fee (refunded at time of volunteering)
Child 2 - $70 Registration + $15 *Capital Improvement fee + $40 **Volunteer fee (refunded at time of volunteering)
Child 3+ - $0 Registration, $15 *Capital Improvement fee + $40 **Volunteer fee (refunded at time of volunteering)
*Capital Improvement fee is in lieu of fundraising.
**$40 is refunded for each weekend shift working in either the concession stand, grill or fields. $20 is refunded for each concession stand shift during the week.

Draft will be March 20, 2018.

Rec league practices will begin in early April. The date, time and number of practices will be determined by each coach.
Rec league games will be played in the evenings on Monday-Thursday. The games start April 30th and are done by the end of June.
End of Season rec league tournament is scheduled for June 18, 19, & 20, 2018. Rain makeup on June 21st.
